JASPER WHITLOCK HALE.
VAMPIRE . one-hundred sixty . JACKSON RATHBONE
I've gotta fight today. To live another day.
Let's start out with his human life. Jasper Whitlock was born and raised in Texas. When he was old enough, Jasper joined the Confederate Army. Being the extremely charismatic person he was, he quickly ascended in the ranks. Not only was he one of the highest ranking officers, he one of the youngest. Of course that fact that he got along with almost everyone gave him an advantage of where he would end up in the ranks. He was highly respected. One night when he ran into three beautiful young women, Maria, Lucy and Nettie. Jasper, being the gentleman he was, asked the ladies where they were headed too. They just smiled and laughed. Maria came close to him, and then bit him. He laid there in pain for three days. He felt as if the fire in his veins would kill him, but when he woke up he wasn't dead. He felt much more alive. Everything was new. Including the burning feeling in his body. It seemed like it couldn't be satisfied. Maria came up to him and showed him how to make the burning go away. But it didn't stay away for long. He would hunt everyday, but still want more. Maria showed him how to survive, and protected him from those that wanted to kill him.
After the first few months of his new life and once he got over the constant burning feeling in his body, he was put to work in Maria's army. He thought he was in love with the beautiful girl that changed him into what he is today, but he wasn't. She just used him for what she needed. He was to train the newborns she created. After only a year, he would have to kill them. He felt every emotion they felt as he attacked them and burned them. All the pain and suffering. It was something that he couldn't handle. So when he met Peter, they began planning an escape from Maria's clutches. He couldn't continue his work in with her. They fled towards the north. Far away from Maria and his old life in Texas. He stayed with Peter and they became best friends, but things changed when Peter met Charlotte. It seemed as if the two were made for each other. He could feel the way they felt for each other. That was when he realized he never loved Maria, it was just an infatuation. He wanted the feelings his friends shared for each other. So jasper went out on his own, in search of a girl that he could make his mate. He saw less and less of Peter and Charlotte once he started his search, but just figured that was how it was supposed to be.
Jasper was spending some time in Philadelphia. The young vampire had passed the city many times. And each time he felt as if he was being drawn there, like someone was calling out to him. So he went to the new city. When there he looked for the girl he had been searching many years for. He had been across the world plenty of times, running into his long lost friends every once in a while. They would share their hello's and go feed for a little bit, then go their seperate ways. It was always nice to see a familiar face in a sea full of strangers. Jasper was walking through the drak streets of the city. He was about to hunt. His crimson eyes growed in the dark alley. A few girls passed the small opening. One looked down towards him. hel leaned against the wall non chalantly, and waited for their curiousity to get the best of them. They began walking down the alley way, just what he wanted. He could feel their pulse in their throats, getting faster and louder with each step they took towards him. The girls emotions switched from fear to excitment within seconds, never staying the same. Jasper knew what they would be feeling in a few seconds. He knew it a little too well. In a swift movement he swept towards them and attacked. When he was done with them he strode out of the alley, feeling much better.
He began walking down the street, and that was when he stopped in front of a small local diner. He turned towards the door and just stared. The same pulling feeling came over him. It wasn't the city drawing him in, it was this diner. His eyes swept over the place, he didn't have any connection to that building. It was a mystery to him. But he couldn't help but feel like he was supposed to be there. A familiar scent drifted to his nose as soon as he opened the door, there was another vampire inside. Not one that he knew though, a new vampire. This intriged him. Maybe that's why it felt as if he was being called to this strange place. He walked inside the crowded diner and took a look around at the new faces. None stood out to him. He moved his gaze across the faces once again before seeing one. Similar to his own features, white skin, dark eyes, pale lips. She was small though, not as muscular as the other female vampires he had seen. She seemed so fragile. The look on her face made it seem like she was waiting for someone. Him perhaps. He made his way acros the room and sat across from her. Her emotions were so happy and bubbly, it kind of scared him, but he didn't walk away. Neither of them said a word, but it wasn't awkward. It just kind of fit. They walked out of the small diner hand in hand. His search was over.
hey look at this! it's a freeform application! post anything here. well, not just anything, but y'know ... important stuff. it's totally up to you as to what you include in this section, but make sure that we at least get a hint of things like personality, history, all that stuff that admins look for in an app.
Jasper gracefully strode down the stairs of the Cullen house. It had become the best home he would ever find over the years. He liked the open space and most of all the people that lived there with him, especially Alice. He didn't know what he would have down if it wasn't for her. She helped him see the light. It was as if the were made for each other. They moved in sync. If he moved one way, she would know what move to make next. Her bubbly ways balanced out his quiet and calmness. It was nice to feel like someone was 'made' for him. She wasn't here today though. She was shopping with Bella for clothes. It was nice to have Bella around, even if he almost killed her. Edward's mood always became a little brighter and happier whenever she was around, but his mood had become darker ever since Jacob imprinted on Bella. Her feelings for Edward were fading. He could feel it. Sometimes he would try and bring those emotions she used to feel back, but they never stayed long. At times he would wish his gift of feeling other's emotions was gone, but at times it came in handy. Jasper made his way towards the kitchen they never used. He knew why they had a kitchen, but didn't see why it was there when no outsider ever came inside their house. I guess it just completes the house though. You never see a house without a kitchen, do you? He sighed to himself and turned away from the empty kitchen in the empty house. Being alone wasn't something he enjoyed. It wasn't very easy for him to be alone. The empty house was just a reminder of how alone he was in the world. If it wasn't for Alice he would be completely alone. Peter and Charlotte were there of course, but not always.
