For a single year of normalcy, it means hell is multiplied by two in the next. The night before he returned, before everyone returned to their second home storm clouds brewed over the little small town where he lived, and smoke like snakes covered the sky, before erupting in a cloud of green was the thing he feared, his mark echoing in the sky. But it was not the only place to see this dark mark. Places all over the Britain area saw this ominous sign, a sign that mean the "he who must not be named" had returned. Voldemort was on the rise yet again.
But to keep the calm, keep the peace and keep those under his command oblivious to the dark dark days a head, Minister of Magic has announced, several times in the Prophet that it is all a nasty mistake, and it should be over looked. With the influence he had, the subject was over looked, and more important matters were attended too. Anyone that still believed "you-know-who" was alive and well as labeled as a liar and nuts.
That same year, that same week, the three went to the quidditch world cup, only to be attacked by what they learned to be death eaters. His followers had made and left his mark in the sky, burning, torturing, and scarring anyone in their path. People slowly started to become skeptics about him being lost in the darkness that "the boy who lived" had put him into. The minster himself was questioned, his own sanity put on the line, but yet again the prophet prevailed and covered it up with great ease, putting the mind and hearts of the wizarding world before him.
Yet again, the odd happened, dementors attacked several wizards, witches and yes, even muggles. The chaos was horrible, and it was almost to hard for the prophet to calm and quell the horrible darkening skies that were forming over the world around them. Was "you-know-who" really alive? And was he here to take back what he lost fourteen years back? People were questioning how well the Ministry would protect them, how well all those Aura's would keep them safe. With rumors of an Azkaban break out, Death Eaters growing more powerful, and wizards start to go missing, what is myth and reality anymore?
Now, with a new year of schooling for the Wizarding world's next and finest generation, there is to be something that was happening to purposely get their minds of this growing threat. Something great, extraordinary was to happen in the lovely year of 1995. The Tri-Wizard Tournament would be resurrected and hosted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Three Schools, Three tasks, one winner. Lives will be at stake as Beauxbatons Academy and Durmstrang School arrive with the grandest of intentions. Here to distract the world of the growing storm around them, of the threats that are slowly arising around them.
The champions will be chosen, and then it will begin. Each champion stand alone, each champion wishes for one thing, eternal glory. Or do they all want it? Everyones got something on their mind, and deep inside their minds there is the growing fear of "You-know-who". Of the things he might do, of the dark times that could possibly engulf their once quiet little world.
